    Hi Guy. The Froude Number is calculated using the following formula:

    {\displaystyle \mathrm {Fr} ={\frac {v}{\sqrt {gl}}}}

    v = the speed in m/s

    g = 9.81 m/s^2

    l = the length of the ship
